月亭失踪，瑞祥等前往报警，并指可能与振鹏有关，而京生则力证振鹏当日醉酒家中。月亭踪迹仍然渺茫，蔓芳伤感，思华遂搬往与她同住，警方查出振鹏与月亭不和，并获知振鹏车似曾在蔓芳所住大厦逗留，故拘留振鹏。京生在情急之下，将月亭给他的字条，将日期更改，交与警方，谓月亭尚在人间，并约他往公园见面，警方即与京生依约前往，久候不见，认为月亭为人绑架，遂放振鹏。穗生返港，得知父亲失踪，阿彪被害等事，振鹏嫌疑最大，穗生一怒直闯振鹏家。此时京生劝振鹏离港，振鹏不允，穗生刚至，质问京生，京生认错。穗生念骨肉之情，原谅了她。瑞祥交回公司权力，穗生烦闷，得思华安慰，二人感情好转。瑞祥等晚饭，振鹏突至，当众认错，并故意向穗生透露，欲偕妻离港，穗生心软，决与他共管理公司。但瑞祥反对，力指振鹏为害死月亭凶手，穗生愕然。
